As a senior animator at Olathe Northwest High School, I have come a long way since when I first began my career here four long years ago. Starting out with a simple "sticky note" animation and creating a 3D masterpiece that took a collective 9 hours to render, my journey hasn't been short and I'm proud of all the work that I do.

Education
Freshman Year
2012 - 2013
Freshman year was the year I was introduced to animation. I explored many different areas of both 2D and 3D animation. The very first animation I completed was a short "keynote" animtion which was frame-by-frame 2D animation. I went on to work on 2D and 3D projects throughout the duration of the short year.
Sophomore Year
2013 - 2014
Sophomore year, I quadrupled my time in animation class. Rather than the 8 measly weeks I spent studying it freshman year, I was in the class for all 32 weeks. I upgraded all of the programs and software that I used. With the upgrade came better upgrade in quality of the projects that I did. However, there was still a lot of step-by-step animations and assigned projects, but it did give way to make me realize that animatoin would be my "major" at my high school.
Junior Year
2014 - 2015
Junior year was the first year I finally felt free. Sure, there were still a few guided projects, but I finally got to do what I wanted to do. I spent this year doing a lot of group projects and a lot of solo work on solo projects as well.
Senior Year
2015 - 2016
Senior year was the epitome of freedom. There was only one assignment at the beginning of the year, and the rest of the year has been solely based around solo projects and freelance projects from other strands in the e-Communication program.

Olathe Northwest High School
2012 - 2016
The past four years of my life were spent at a transfer school in Olathe, Kansas: Olathe Northwest High School. I was drawn here by the e-Communication program primarily due to its web design and video production. However, I started developing a passion for animation and stuck with it.
Harding University
2016 - 2020
Starting in the Fall of 2016, I will be moving to Searcy, Arkansas to study at Harding University. Unfortunately, I will not be studying animation, but I plan to keep animating on the side and doing small freelance projects throughout the four years I'm away from Kansas City.
